Berry muffins

Tender, flavorful berry muffins! Instead of a small cookie cutters can be used one big form (with a diameter of about 2024 cm), but then the cooking time should be increased.

If you are using frozen berries, thaw it and give all the fluid to drain.


  • 200 g wheat flour
  • ¼ tsp soda
  • Sugar 200 g
  • 2 h. L. baking powder
  • ½ h. L. salt
  • ¼ nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g vegetable oil
  • 150 ml of milk (2.6%)
  • 100 g blueberries
  • 100 g currants

Cooking method:

Berries Wash and pat dry with paper towel. Turn the oven to 400 F. In a separate bowl, mix dry and liquid ingredients to complete their connection. You do not need whipping. Then the «liquid» part of the transfer to a «dry». Stir until until the whole flour is wetted. This 15-20 spoon movements. Divide the dough into two equal parts. In one, add blueberries, pre-floured, in the second — currants. Also sprinkle it with flour first.

Two — three berries mixing movements spread in the test. Grease a baking tin with butter and lightly flour sprinkling. Fill in the form completely test. Sprinkle each muffin with sugar and put in the oven, preheated to 400 F. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
