Homemade cottage cheese biscuits — it’s always delicious. Especially when there is a proven recipe and a little free time. And, as an idea for a change of taste, in the stuffing, you can add a little lemon zest or vanilla extract.

Ingredients for 6 pieces

dough:

  • 210 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g of powdered sugar
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt

filling:

  • 200 g of cottage cheese
  • 40 grams of sugar or powdered sugar
  • 30 g flour
  • 20 g sour cream
  • 1/2 yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (optional)

+ 1/2 yolk and 1 tablespoon of warm water to lubricate the surface cottage cheese biscuits

Preparation:

Ingredients stuffing mix thoroughly by hand or with a mixer. In another bowl, mix the butter, egg, sugar and a pinch of salt. To stir thoroughly. Pour the flour and baking powder. The dough is mixed until smooth and sculpt into a ball.

The dough is divided into six equal parts (70 g). The surface for rolling dough sprinkled with flour. Form a cake large enough: of the dough roll into a thick sausage and lightly roll the rolling pin to obtain oval. Closer to the edge of the oval to put 45 g filling. Stuffing cover with the other half of the dough. Cookies placed on a baking sheet, the laid paper baking.

Half yolk mixed with water and rub the surface cottage cheese biscuits.  Bake cookie in preheated 395 F oven for 25 minutes. Ready-made cakes sprinkled with powdered sugar.
