Dried Fruit & Nuts Cookies


Dried Fruit & Nuts Cookies — delicious and healthy meals. The cookies will taste not only lovers of sweet pastries, but also for those who prefer vegetable food.



  • 2 cups flour (280 g)
  • Sugar 100 g
  • 4 tbsp caster sugar (32 g)
  • pinch of salt
  • 200 g cold butter (cut into cubes)
  • 2 egg yolks

mincemeat and nuts:

  • 300 g dried fruit (figs, apricots, cranberries, prunes, or your choice)
  • 100 g of nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g of brown sugar
  • Honey 100 g
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp cream


in the mixer bowl to mix together the flour, sugar, powdered sugar, salt and butter, up crumb formation. Add yolks knead the dough so that it gathered into a ball (long kneading!). The dough is spread on a baking paper and distribute hands into a rectangle with a thin layer. We transfer to a baking sheet and put in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Bake in the oven heated to 356 F for 15 minutes until light golden brown.


Dried fruits and nuts cut into small cubes. The pot we place the sugar and butter and put on medium heat.
Stir so that the oil is completely melted. Add the honey and cream, stir and remove from heat. Add the dried fruit and nuts and stir until smooth.
