Green Peas & Avocado Hummus

 

Green Peas & Avocado Hummus pleasant and delicious opening this season. Appetizer turns out incredibly tasty and hearty and very harmoniously with goat cheese.

Cooking time: 1520 minutes + time for cleansing of fresh peas

Recipe:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 400 g of peeled fresh or frozen green peas
  • 3 tablespoons sesame paste tehina (its easy to prepare at home, was ground in a coffee grinder previously dried on the fire in a dry frying pan Sesame andadd a little olive oil)
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 avocado
  • juice of half a lemon
  • Salt
  • black pepper optional
  • Mint if desired

 

Cooking:

 

In a saucepan or skillet flushing with the addition of butter 2 tablespoons olive oil and sugar spoons. Thick, peas (frozen without defrosting), pour 100150 ml of water and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Beat Blender peas to homogeneity. Add mashed peas 6 tablespoons olive oil, thinu and whip again to homogeneity.

Avocado peel from the bones and skin. Spoon out the flesh with a fork and pour lemon juice. Mix mashed avocado with humusom of peas. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with baked goat cheese in pita bread or cereal bread for toasting. If you wish you can Sprinkle chopped mint.

Hummus can be spread on a tasty Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Cheese Bread and get excellent breakfast.
